From Evidence to Decisions.
My perspective on pharmaceutical strategy draws on global development leadership, enterprise transformation, and research in decision science to connect evidence, organizational priorities, and strategic judgment.
Professional perspective
PERSPECTIVEGlobal pharmaceutical programme leadership across neuroscience, oncology, and rare disease, spanning Phase II, Phase III, and regulatory filing.
My perspective on pharmaceutical strategy is shaped by leadership experience in global drug development programmes and enterprise analytics, a foundation in quantitative sciences, and doctoral research in decision science.
My work connects three dimensions of pharmaceutical leadership. Guiding complex development programmes, strengthening organizational capabilities through data and technology, and examining how evidence informs consequential strategic choices.
Across these experiences, one question remains central. How do we make decisions that remain defensible when evidence is incomplete, priorities compete, and outcomes are uncertain?
From Scientific Evidence to Enterprise Leadership
Experience Shaping Strategic Judgment
My career spans scientific development, global programme leadership, and enterprise analytics. These experiences have provided complementary perspectives on how pharmaceutical organizations evaluate evidence, coordinate complex programmes, and develop the capabilities needed to support decisions and execution. Five therapeutic areas, four regions. Oncology supportive care, neurology, psychiatry, infectious disease, and rheumatology. Studies across Asia-Pacific, Europe, North America, and Australasia.
Global Programme Leadership
Experience leading global pharmaceutical development programmes across neuroscience, oncology, and rare disease, spanning Phase II, Phase III, and regulatory filing. Earlier responsibilities included statistical and regulatory advisory leadership for Phase III biosimilar programmes.
Enterprise Analytics
Connected scientific and analytical communities with enterprise data capabilities across the drug development lifecycle, from early clinical development through post-marketing safety.
Scientific and Regulatory Foundations
Experience spanning drug development, regulatory submissions, quantitative safety science, and benefit–risk assessment across multiple therapeutic areas.
From Experience to Strategic Inquiry
Working across pharmaceutical development, global programmes, and enterprise analytics has given me different perspectives on how organizations evaluate evidence, coordinate priorities, and make consequential decisions.
These experiences complement my doctoral research in decision science at ETH Zurich, where I examine how assumptions, uncertainty, and competing objectives influence strategic choices.

From Knowledge to Collective Practice
My work extends beyond pharmaceutical organizations through engagement with scientific and professional communities. Working-group leadership, conference participation, and teaching provide opportunities to exchange ideas, challenge assumptions, and connect research with professional practice.
